SignUpGenius is an online software tool for volunteer management and event planning. It will allow our Council to easily create signup forms for various planned projects and/or events and will enable members to go online to volunteer.
Whenever volunteers are needed, an email will be sent to all members (that have an email address) inviting them to log onto SignUpGenius to volunteer. A link will be included in the email which will take you directly to the SignUpGenius program. You will also be able to access SignUpGenius through our website –
Once you are in the program, you will see the activities that require volunteers. SignUpGenius will indicate how many volunteers are needed for a specific activity and/or specific time. It will also indicate how many members have already volunteered. Simply click on the “SIGNUP” tab, and then select “SAVE & CONTINUE”. On the next screen you will be asked to enter your name and email address. Then click on the “SIGN UP NOW” tab. That’s it.
After you have volunteered, you will receive an email acknowledging your selection. You will also receive an email reminder 2 days prior to an event you volunteered for. It’s that simple.
